Kedma Solar was founded in 2016 by three American-born Israelis on a mission to improve Israel’s environment through accessible, affordable, clean energy. Our founders have a wealth of professional experience in the construction sector and in green tech and have attended some of the top American universities.

Planning

Get a free site survey, panel layout, quote, and ROI calculations. Our engineering team is here to help you optimize your roof and adjust the plan according to your requests.

Permitting

Our team will handle the permitting for you. We'll help you fill in your request, submit your plans, and monitor the electric company to ensure your permits arrive on schedule.

Installation

Trust one of our certified installation teams to build your array to the highest quality. In 3-4 days, your racking, panels, and inverters will be installed and ready for inspection. Your system should pass inspection within a few weeks and be ready for commissioning.

Maintenance

Once your system is online, our team will monitor your output 24/7 to ensure smooth operation. Our maintenance team can handle panel cleaning, routine inspections, or service calls as necessary under one of our system warranty packages.

What are the different types of solar panels?

There are several types of photovoltaic panels – mono silicon, polysilicon, PERC, and even prascovites. You can read about the technical side of each type of panel in the links above. We work with four official importers in Israel who import panels from different companies. Among them are Longi, JA Solar, Jinko, Sunpower QCell, Eging, etc.. All the companies are ranked Tier 1 by Bloomberg and among the world’s most recognized and high-quality brands.

Is there insurance for a solar system?

of course! Solar systems can be insured. Today, insurance companies offer insurance coverage for solar systems as part of supplementary insurance. The insurance coverage includes fracture damage, weather and insurance against loss of income in case of need for repair.

Is there a risk of radiation from a solar system?

The solar panels are passive components. Therefore, there is no radiation, the voltage converter of the system produces a little radiation that meets all standards, but there is no real danger in it, and it is installed outside the house.

What permits should be issued to install a solar system?

To get a permit to install a solar system, several permits are needed (electrical plan, constructor’s permit, electrical engineer’s permit, coordination with the electricity company, registration with the Ministry of Energy, and more…), but don’t worry, we will take care of the entire licensing process for you and take care of all the documents needed!
